As per WHO 70% of the total diseases are Water-Born, Cholera, Dengue, Typhoid, Jaundice (Hepatitis A), Skin diseases and hundreds of other diseases are because of consumption of contaminate water which we are not aware of storage. Hence cleaning of Water tank is necessary.
Cleaning is an attitude, it’s an individual subject cleaning of tank is a basic necessity.
Today everybody is concern about clean and safe water but nobody bothers about cleaning of water tanks on regular basis.
Water will be removed from the tank through suction pump and drained it near Main hole,
some water will be left during suction for the cleaning of tanks.
All four walls, roof and ground of tanks will be cleaned through scraping, brushing, mob etc for eradication of fungus, mud and other non-hygienic material, now this muddy water will be removed from the tanks. Some quantity of fresh water will be left in tanks for repeat the cleaning procedure as above.
Diluted Potassium permanganate (KMnO4) will be drenched in the entire tank area.
